vivo unveiled the X70 series at its launch event in China today. The biggest difference between the devices and their successors from the previous year is in the camera department.
vivo introduced the X70 series in China today. While the first two phones of the series, which consists of three phones, X70, vivo X70 Pro and vivo X70 Pro+, are quite similar to each other, the biggest difference is the number of cameras on the back.
vivo X70 and X70 Pro feature 6.56-inch AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate. This display technology was also present in the series’ successors, the vivo x60 and x60 Pro.
Exynos 1080 undeterred on the X70 Pro:
The same situation exists in the processor of the X70 Pro; As a matter of fact, the device still uses the Exynos 1080 processor. The vivo X70 has the Dimensity 1200 processor manufactured by Mediatek.
The ZEISS-branded camera department is where the main upgrades took place this year; As a matter of fact, vivo X70 has three cameras on the back, 40MP main, 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. While these numbers may seem low compared to the vivo X60, the sensors on the back are newer and promise improved image quality.
X70 Pro has V1 ISP to improve focusing speed and image quality:
Vivo X70 Pro has a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and 2x telephoto cameras, but unlike the base model of the series, there is a fourth camera with an 8MP sensor and a periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. The X70 Pro also comes with the dedicated vivo V1 ISP, which is thought to improve focusing speed and image quality.
One of the most important developments in the X70 family has been made in the battery department; Both the X70 and X70 Pro come with 44W fast charging, a first for a non-Plus device in the X portfolio. The battery capacities of the devices were announced as 4,400 mAh and 4,500 mAh, respectively.
