China has completed another space mission
A remote sensing satellite batch was sent into orbit today.
NEW SATELLITE LAUNCHED
At 08:19 local time, a new satellite group with remote sensing was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province in the southwestern part of the country.
The satellites were launched with the Long-March-2C rocket with a length of 43 meters and a take-off mass of 242 tons.
OBSERVING ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS IN SPACE
The launch was the 380th mission to be performed with Long March rockets. Officials stated that the new satellites are the 10th group belonging to the Yaogan-30 family.
China aims to observe electromagnetic fields in space with new satellites.
SPACE STATION MOVEMENT
China is working to establish its own space station by 2022, as the USA prohibits cooperation in the field of space exploration and prevents its participation in the International Space Station (ISS) program.
Chinese taikonauts made the first spacewalk on July 4 at the Tienhi (Heavenly Harmony) Space Station, which the Beijing administration was establishing.
